Choose A Recipe

Ingredients

  • (Gluten Free recipe available on our Blog)
  • Shortcrust or flaky pastry to line a pie dish
  • 210 ml. Jar of our Beetroot Relish
  • 250 grams of Blue Cheese chopped into small pieces
  • 50 grams of chopped Walnuts
  • A bunch of finely chopped Fresh Chives
  • 100 ml. of Sour Cream or Yogurt

Method

  • Pre-heat oven to 160 Deg C
  • Butter pie dish or spray with cooking oil
  • Line dish with pastry and blind bake for 10 mins
  • Combine all other ingredients in a mixing bowl & mix well with a fork
  • Place wet ingredients onto the pastry in the pie dish

  • 100 ml of our Blueberry BBQ Sauce
  • 100 ml of Red Wine
  • 3 Fresh bay leaves
  • 3 Cloves of crushed Garlic (optional)

Method

  • Combine ingredients in a non-reactive container
  • Cover meat, fish, or tofu with a generous coating of marinade
  • Leave in the refrigerator overnight
  • Grill on the BBQ, use in a stir fry, or in a casserole
  • Potroast a leg of lamb with the lid on
  • Leave the marinade in the pot, add 2 cups of water, a few fresh herbs, & a few cinnamon sticks

Ingredients

  • 100 grams of any of our Fruit Mustard
  • 1 tble sppon of Chopped Capers
  • 1 tble spoon of finely Chopped Chives
  • 1 tble spoon of Chopped Dill
  • 100 ml. of Sour Cream (or creme fresh or mascarpone or lactose free Cream)

Method

  • Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix well
  • Refrigerate for an Hour before serving

  • 1 Jar of Our Cherry Paste
  • 2 tble sppons of Peanut Oil
  • 1 heaped tea-spoon of finely Chopped Ginger
  • 1 finely Chopped Red Chilli (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of roughly Chopped Spring Onion tops
  • 2 tea-spoons of soya sauce
  • 1 tea-spoon of Blueberry Vinegar
  • 500 grams of Tofu or Fish
  • 1 cup of Water, vegetable, or fish stock

Method

  • Heat oil in a wok until hot
  • Add the fresh Ginger, Chili, & Spring Onion Tops
  • Stir until wilted and soft
  • Add fish pieces or tofu & stir for 1 minute
  • Add the Cherry Paste, blueberry vinegar, and

Ingredients

  • 1 Jar of Our Quince Jelly
  • 2 tea-spoons of Blueberry Vinegar
  • 1 tble spoon of Olive Oil
  • Fresh ground salt & pepper
  • A bunch of sliced Carrots
  • A handful of Chopped Parsley
  • A handful of Spring Onion Tops
  • A handful of Sprigs of Watercress

Method

  • Steam Carrots until lightly cooked
  • Place in a bowl & mix the Vinegar, jelly, olive oil, salt & pepper. Stir through
  • Top with Spring Onion Tops, parsley, & watercess
  • Add fish pieces or tofu & stir for 1 minute
  • Add the Cherry Paste, blueberry vinegar, and

Olives:

Add to salads, antipasto, or eat as a snack heated through in a pan with crunchy bread and cheese. Great in any pastasauce or tapenade.

Beetroot Relish:

Use as an accompaniment to any cold meats and cheese as well as making a great addition to sandwiches. Simply add yogurt and use as a dip or topping for a curry. Make a beetroot and blue cheese tart. It's a great additon to any burger, both meat and vegetarian.

Fruit Chutneys:

Good with any meat, cheese, or vegetarian roll-ups or pitas. Use as a marinade, add to sauces, dips, cheese platters, and as an accompaniment to a good curry

Caramelised Onions & Plum Relish:

Fantastic with any steak, roast, tofu, BBQ or burger. Use as a topping on bacon, egg or tofu. Make an onion tart or slice.

Fruit Mustards:

Use with any meat or cheese platter. These mild fruity mustards are a perfect additon for a light creamy sauce or just as a dip or topping. Goes great in burgers and sandwiches. Perfect additon to a marinade, salad dressing or home made mayonnaise.
